Pamela Bach’s Death at 62 Ruled a Suicide

Towven.com – Pamela Bach, an actress renowned for her roles in “Baywatch” and “The Young and the Restless,” and former wife of actor David Hasselhoff, has died at the age of 62.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Bach passed away on March 5, 2025, at her residence in Los Angeles, attributing her death to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Born Pamela Ann Weissenbach on October 16, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was the second of three sisters.

Her mother had also been a model. Bach attended Tulsa East Central High School and later studied engineering at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College before relocating to Los Angeles in 1985 to pursue an acting career.

Bach’s acting career included appearances in popular television series such as “The Young and the Restless,” “Cheers,” and “Knight Rider.”

She gained significant recognition for her recurring role as Kaye Morgan in “Baywatch.” Her film credits include “Appointment with Fear” (1985), “Nudity Required” (1988), and “Castle Rock” (2000).

She met David Hasselhoff during the filming of “Knight Rider,” leading to their marriage in December 1989. The couple had two daughters, Taylor Ann and Hayley. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2006 amid public disputes and allegations.

In her later years, Bach faced personal challenges. Neighbors noted that she appeared “sad” in the days leading up to her death.

Her daughter, Hayley, reportedly discovered her mother’s body and was described as “hysterical” following the tragic discovery.

David Hasselhoff expressed deep sorrow over Bach’s passing, requesting privacy for the family during this difficult time.

Bach’s death has prompted discussions about mental health and the pressures faced by those in the public eye.

Fans and colleagues have taken to social media to express their condolences and share memories of the actress. She is survived by her two daughters and a granddaughter. Funeral arrangements have not been publicly announced.
