Towven.com – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has upgraded the risk level of a recent recall of broccoli sold at Walmart stores to Class I, the highest risk classification. This indicates a “reasonable probability” that consuming the affected broccoli could cause serious health problems or even death.

FDA Urges Consumers to Take Action
The FDA is urging consumers to check their freezers for the recalled broccoli and discard it immediately. Even if the “best-if-used-by” date has passed, the product may still be in consumers’ freezers.
